KAATAI VINTAGE was born out of a deep passion for making luxury accessible while promoting sustainability and inclusivity. Growing up, luxury always seemed out of reach, but I was inspired by the timeless elegance and craftsmanship of vintage designer bags. That inspiration sparked the creation of KAATAI VINTAGE, with a mission to bridge the gap between the world of high fashion and those who, like me, seek quality and affordability.

The name KAATAI holds a special place in my heart. It comes from the word KATAI ກະຕ່າຍ which is "rabbit" in Laos and reflects both my favorite animal and my Asian astrology sign— the Rabbit. In Asian culture, the rabbit symbolizes longevity, peace, and prosperity, traits I carry into this business. The rabbit, which you’ll see in our logo, represents my journey—starting small but always moving forward, much like the way KAATAI VINTAGE has grown.

What started as a one-person business built on determination and love for vintage luxury has flourished, but I remain committed to the values I began with: affordability, sustainability, and inclusivity. Each bag we launch is thoughtfully curated, offering the chance to acquire genuine, pre-owned luxury items at a significantly reduced price, while also promoting a more sustainable future.

Although KAATAI VINTAGE began as a solo project, I am deeply grateful for my family who helped me along the way. We are growing, and you can expect to meet the wonderful team behind KAATAI VINTAGE soon.
